DESPITE WHAT YOU MAY HAVE HEARD, ROOT CANALS DON’T HAVE TO BE SCARY
When the nerve of your tooth (the pulp) gets infected or inflamed, a root canal can save the tooth. We remove the damaged tissue, clean the inside of the tooth , and seal the tooth to prevent future problems.
Most patients say the procedure feels like getting a deep filling—and they’re relieved to finally be out of pain. Finding patients asleep during the root canal is commonplace. Signs you might need a root canal:
Toothache that doesn’t go away
Sensitivity to hot or cold that lingers
Swelling or tenderness around one tooth
Darkening or discoloration of a tooth

CRACKED TOOTH TREATMENT
Cracks aren’t always visible, but they can cause sharp pain when biting or chewing. A cracked tooth can lead to loss of the tooth if left untreated.
We’ll evaluate the damage, and in many cases, we can repair the tooth with a crown before it worsens.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We numb the area fully. You’ll be able to drive home after. Most people go back to work that day or the next.
